Andrey Grigoriev - Smooth Bulldog

Andrey Grigoriev - Smooth Bulldog

About The Artist:

Andrey Grigoriev was born in Saint-Petersburg in 1982. He started making pipes in 2004 as a hobby, while he was working as a professional engineer. In 2006 he met high grade Russian pipe carver Viktor Yashtylov and became his pupil. In 2010, he became a full time pipe maker, and under Viktor's supervision he started to carve his own quality pipes under his own name. Now a teacher himself, Andrey works to train the next generation of carvers, including talented up-and-comer Mikail Garmash of Red Frontier Pipes.

About The Pipe:

A very unique interpretation of the classic bent bulldog. This one features gorgeous grain with plenty of unique curves and angles that grab the eye’s attention. The stem features a gentle sweeping bend and subtle boxwood accent so as not to detract from the stummel’s beauty. Includes sleeve.
